Michael Schultz is a veteran public relations professional, and has spearheaded results-generating communications campaigns for a wide range of innovative clients. From e-customer relationship management and fractal imaging science, across the spectrum to consumer events like Zildjian’s American Drummer’s Achievement Awards, Schultz has worked closely with more than 35 companies to lead aggressive PR and communications programs.
Schultz has won numerous industry awards for aggressive media relations, and is adept at working company messaging and vision into written communications collateral. Leveraging strong relationships with national media, industry influencers, legislators and industry analysts, his strategic development and execution of public relations and communications campaigns has:

Schultz has launched entrepreneurial startups, lead companies through public offerings, and managed both sides of corporate acquisitions and mergers.
Schultz previously worked for a decade helping to grow the nation’s premier technology PR agency, Schwartz Communications, where as a Director he lead both the strategy and execution of media relations for a wide variety of clients. Schultz helped to launch Schwartz’s government relations and special events programs, taking executives to capital hill to meet directly with legislators, organizing business and consumer events and more.
Prior experience includes in-house public relations and marketing roles at digital video editing pioneer Avid Technology, and financial services experience with Putnam Investments. Schultz has served as a communications consultant to the Appalachian Mountain Club for a decade, also working with the American Alpine Club for the past several years. He is a skilled professional photographer, member of the Key Foundation, has received the Vigil Honor from the Order of the Arrow and is an Eagle Scout. Schultz holds a BA in Communications from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
